Aidos Amirgaliyev focuses his practice on immigration law at Alcock & Associates. He has experience representing clients in a wide range of immigration matters, including immigration court proceedings, bond hearings, asylum cases, removal defense, cancellation of removal, and adjustment of status. He works closely with clients to understand their individual circumstances, evaluate their legal options, and develop strategies tailored to their immigration goals.
Originally from Kazakhstan, Aidos brings extensive legal and academic experience to his practice. Before continuing his legal career in the United States, he served as legal counsel in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and later taught law at Eurasian National University. He earned an LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. in Law in Kazakhstan, as well as an LL.M. from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, where he is currently an S.J.D. candidate. Admitted to practice in New York and several federal courts, Aidos assists clients in English, Russian, and Kazakh.
